OUR OFFERING AND CORE COMPETENCE

We offer beautiful, sustainable and timeless designs in a colourful range of washbasins, toilets, bathtubs, wall panels and solid surface panels, completed with accessories. We also provide custom-made solutions for larger development projects.

Our product range is made of the patented Woodio® material – a fully waterproof wood composite. Woodio offers a more ecological alternative to traditional ceramics and stone-based materials in a wide range of applications – from bathroom furniture to interior surfaces – in private and commercial spaces, from hotels to housing and cruise ships. The patented Woodio® material is a mix of wood chips and advanced resins. The main advantage of Woodio is its lower carbon footprint compared to traditional players: Besides of using renewable wood as raw-material, production does not require energy-intensive phases or extensive use of water.

The key advantages of Woodio for cruise ships are its lower weight and lower carbon footprint compared to traditional sanitaryware. The use of wood as raw material, combined with a low-energy production process, result in a unique waterproof composite that is lightweight, impact resistant and durable, offering significant CO2 reductions and cost savings for cruise ships.

Woodio is a Finnish eco-design and material technology company established in 2015. Developer of a revolutionary solid wood composite material. The company and its own factory are based in Helsinki, Finland, with a personnel of 30 people.
