Due to our unique design skills, we can even create carbon-negative furnitures for different needs and spaces.

We are a Finnish, family owned company from Turku, we are specialized in international resale, manufacturing and project planning in the luxury furniture and design industry. We only work with Finnish, high-class, bespoke design furnitures and art objects. Our team has over 40 years experience in project management, logistics and hotel industry. We have deep design and manufacturing knowledge and from that we build our core competence.

We decorate cruise ships, hotels and public buildings. We have representative also in the United States (New York and Miami).

We create inspiring environments with our custom-made furnitures. We can build a completely finished, unique piece of furniture according to the customer’s wishes and plans in 10 days.

Simulators developed by Aboa Mare are used in education and training.
The simulation department consists of 9 ship bridge simulators, technical simulators, a VTS-simulator and a GMDSS simulator. The first-rate simulators are also used for different R&D projects within the maritime industry.

In addition, Aboa Mare offers secondary education at Axxell vocational institute, where you can study for a watchkeeping officer’s or watchkeeping engineer’s degree, and Bachelor level education at Novia UAS, where you can study for a Sea Captain’s or Marine Engineer’s degree. 3Mar Oy develops and produces compact, efficient shore connection and automooring devices to support the maritime industry’s transition towards an environmentally sustainable future. 

Our products are designed by shipbuilders understanding the naval architectural limitations and the importance of robustness both onboard and at the quayside.

We offer solutions enabling significant cost savings for operators, shore power providers and shipbuilders, while delivering fast and strong performance in a reliable manner. Our products do not require heavy foundations reducing the civil works, often a big expense, to a fraction. 

Our solutions can be delivered in a wide range: From simply delivering the factory tested device for installing by the customer, to a full system turnkey containing all the measurements, engineering, installing works etc. Or any combination in between.

Our products are independent push button systems on the bridge allowing the crew to allocate their attention elsewhere such as vessel maneuvering, unloading and loading duties. No additional skills or complex training is required for the users –user interface is designed to be easy to use.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

3Mar is a spin-off from Mobimar Oy and continues to develop shore connection device originally designed by Mobimar. Later, 3Mar has developed an automooring device and variety of charging connection devices. We provide our know how of naval architecture and manufacturing for partnerships across the industry, with a patent portfolio ranging from a best-in-class shore connector for e-vessels and a gripper arm ideal for servicing off shore wind parks, to trimaran hull designs optimized for fuel and energy efficiency.

OUR OFFERING AND CORE COMPETENCE

We can form specialized moulding with our planer according to customers preferred measurements and profiles, for example handrailings, flush- and glassmouldings and other finely sawn mouldings.

On request we are able to glueassemble timber by lenght or manufacture products in its entirety from solid wood. Planer procucts will have selected surface finishing and cut-to-measure when desired. We provide from our supply among other things branchless pine, birch, oak, ash, walnut and peech, others when requested.

OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

We manufacture the products from the beginning to the end as order-based and customer-oriented in Hollola using state of the art woodworking machines. Every order is being made of bespoken materials and standard or ad hoc-measurements. We attend on carpenters and furniture suppliers on their variable projects.

On our woodworking machines we are able to produce required parts and components flexibly. With our edge-banding 5-axis CNC machine, we can handle even the most demanding projects with precision and efficiency. With our multible edgebanding machines we are able to make solid wood edges as well as abs edges, even zero seam is possible.

Located in the middle of Tavastia, Finland we are within good logistics routes to all directions. We have long history producing moulings and other bespoken parts.
