We offer companies a wide range of opportunities to work together as part of our existing business networks and ecosystems.

Lahti region is a “gateway” to Finnish maritime cooperation. For companies already operating in the Lahti region and for new companies locating to region, we will offer our advisor services free of charge and we bring LADEC’s strong business networks and know-how to support your business. More than 200 new businesses are created every year through our advisory services and around 1000 companies take advantage of our development services every year.

The operation of the networks and LADEC’s services to the business groups participating in the networks are always based on the needs and goals of the companies in each network. Business networks that LADEC coordinates now are: Maritime Network Hub Finland, Lahti GEM – Lahti region Green Electrification of Mobility Cluster, Lahti Sports Hub, Lahti Region Maritime Cluster, Päijät-Häme Grain Cluster.

ABOUT LADEC

LADEC is a regional non-profit business development company funded by the municipalities of Päijät-Häme. We help and offer comprehensive, free advisory services for company startups, growth, development, internationalisation and business locating in our region.

We work closely with universities and financial institutions, which bring significant opportunities for companies to collaborate. At LADEC we see that it is very important to promote networking, cooperation and joint learning. All of this is effectively possible in our business networks and ecosystems.

The Lahti Region Maritime Cluster, established by LADEC in 2017, includes more than 120 local companies implementing domestic and international maritime industry projects.
