OUR OFFERING AND CORE COMPETENCE

Metabar brings a paradigm shift to industrial water demand management: Instead of investing on waste water circulation or rain water collection (both of which are increasing the supply or circulation of available water), our technology is enabling to SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASE THE DEMAND of potable freshwater (or any liquid) DURING applicable WASHING PROCESSES. Smaller water tanks -> less weight -> less CO2 emissions.

Multiple use cases at marine: Our solution is applicable to e.g. passenger cabins (toilets and lavatory solutions incl. human hygiene), professional kitchens (washing) and external windows and facades. We are looking for business partners who are interested to co-design our technology or sub-contract our solutions into larger offerings – suitable for order by European builders of passenger ships or yachts. We can MODERNIZE your current offerings.

Core competence: We can design 3D metal-printed nozzles (and related housings) according to varying customer needs. Our core technology is widely patented (e.g. EU, Japan, USA, UAE), including how water (or any liquid) is smartly distributed through our nozzles creating a desired washing / spray effect on the target surfaces.

OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

Metabar® nozzles can decrease the water / detergent consumption up to 70-90% (depending on the desired outcome) during e.g. a washing, toilet or sanitary processes. Less water consumption -> Less waste water -> Smaller tanks. Note that availability of pressured gas is needed in all Metabar® solutions. And that our nozzles are able to withstand sea water.

We are A CHANGE MAKER in water demand management. We can deliver what the others cannot do! Our technology has already received a lot of interest from multiple verticals – e.g. from well-known brand-owners in Sweden, Germany and Switzerland.

ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Metabar Technology Oy was established in 2017. At the moment we are active e.g. in the following verticals: Food & drinks, Moving platforms, Pro Water and Human resilience / defence.

During 2025-2027 Metabar is participating to a Business Finland -funded Pro Water -consortium. Working closely with consortium partners we aim to start co-innovating how freshwater consumption could be remarkably decreased in future projects.

Furthermore, we are open for new co-operation / piloting / technology licensing proposals from established marine sector companies in e.g. Finland, Germany and Italy.
